Ghana To Observe Two-Weeks Lockdown In Selected Cities To Combat The Spread Of Coronavirus

President Nana Akufo-Addo has announced a two weeks lockdown in selected cities across the country to help the efforts against Coronavirus.

The number of cases arising from the disease keeps increasing on a regular basis and this move is seen as the immediate and necessary measure to help the country in its fight.

Hence, the President announced that starting Monday, March 30th, 2020, the cities below will be under total lockdown. Ghana has so far recorded 137 confirmed cases and four deaths.

Krowor
Ledzokuku
Adentan
Ashiaman
La-Nkwantanang-Madina

La-Dade-Kotopon

Ayawaso West
