Ghanaian business executive HRH Oscar Yao Doe has responded to President Nana Akufo-Addo’s Address to the Nation last night.
HRH Doe pointed out key points that were either left out or not addressed properly by the President. Among them is the freedom of expression and association for Ghanaians to exercise their rights to use social media but be mindful of what they post. Secondly, HRH Doe also said, the President should have tackled the issue of alleged abuse of power by law enforcers during the lockdown, after several videos circulated on social media.
Furthermore, he added that Information Minister Honourable Kojo Oppong Nkrumah didn’t give accurate information during his interview with the BBC on measures put in place by the government to curb the spread of the coronavirus in Ghana.

Our Constitution Is Crystal Clear On “Freedom of Expression”.
Yes, There Was Overwhelming Evidence of Video Showing The Brutality Of Ghanaians By Security Forces, Have They Been Punished? It’s Also True, There Were Some Old Videos Which Were Not Accurate, But How Can Ghanians Know That This Video is Current And That Is Old?
