Chelsea football club led by odd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali have agreed to a £105m (€120) deal for Benfica midfielder Enzo Fernandez, he was permitted to take his medical in Portugal.
His former club River Plate (before he signed for Benfica) will receive about €41 million from the deal.
Argentina World Cup winner is on the verge of becoming Premier League’s record buy after Blues agree to pay release clause; this will make Enzo the eighth acquisition by Chelsea in the January transfer window.
Enzo is regarded as one of the brightest young talents in modern football after a fine display in Qatar during the recently held world cup.
