Creative Arts Minister Engages With Stonebwoy, Efya, E.L, Others On Income Generation From Digital Platforms

The Creative Arts Minister, Mrs Barbara Oteng Gyasi is taking a huge step in solving the major problem facing the entertainment industry.

In a video shared, Ghanaian afro-dancehall artist, Stonebwoy was seen in an Instagram call with the information Minister Honourable Kojo Oppong as they spoke about taking the industry to a bigger level.

This moved the information minister to arrange a conference video call with some of the biggest names in the music industry – Efya, E.L, Trigmatic, Stonebwoy and more to discuss the issue further.

In a recent industry on UTV, Shatta Wale asked help from the government to help push and make the industry stand well.

Ghanaian musicians have somehow being criticized for not taking full advantage of the digital era to make sales from singles to albums. Therefore, if this new initiative from the minister is following with keen interest, the window of opportunity will be vast for all to gain.
