Nigerians on social media have begun a campaign to help bring back Cynthia Morgan into the music industry, after several issues with her label in the past.
Cynthia Morgan revealed in an interview of how she battled with depression when almost everything she made from music was taken away by the label. She was also stripped of her stage name when she fell out with label a few years ago. She also added that she was ill for over six months after the incidents.
Even Though she is willing to make a return to her first love, which is music to feed her fans, she is only willing to accept investment and not to join any record label again.
After seeing her in the interview, her fans and music lovers across Nigeria took to a microblogging platform, Twitter to start a campaign to resurrect her career and encourage her to share more music. Some of the fans said their willingness to promote her new songs with their pages if she decides to do music again.
Before going dark, she released hit singles like Come and Do, In Love, Lion and more. She changed her name from Cynthia Morgan to Madrina, a couple of years ago.
