DJ ERNIE, Ghanaian award-winning DJ known in real life as Ernest Kay-Obeng has been featured in one of UK’s top-selling magazine, “Perazim

He joins the likes of Ghanaian top actors John Dumelo, Ama K. Abebrese, Too Sweet Annan, Worldwide star and founder of TINA, Fuse ODG, Fancy Gadam, Ameyaw Debrah and many others.

DJ Ernie was born in Accra with a twin sister, had his basic and secondary school education also in Accra and holds an HND Marketing from Accra Technical University and a BSc Marketing from the University of Cape Coast.
He’s been in the disc jockeying industry for over 6 years, featured on radio shows, club and large outdoor events and also worked side by side with many artists from the country.

In 2016, he was nominated Best Campus DJ in the Ghana DJ Awards festival and awarded Most Influential Student DJ in the Accra Technical University Excellence Awards same year.

Currently, DJ Ernie works full time with a very reputable telecommunications company in the country and still hangs on to his passion in DJing as a Mobile DJ. He’s rebranded into playing wedding gigs, corporate events and private parties.

The Perazim magazine which has featured top UK acts over the years redirects to concentrate on Ghanaian creatives across the world. According to the Editor-in-Chief, Kevin Graham, the 6th edition of the magazine which is also the Issue 6 (“Ghanaian Juggernauts”) is an aroma of pure champions, evolving into credible creative legends which comprise of Influencers, models, people in fashion, photography, music, acting, art, media etc
