Chelsea Tayui Crowned Miss Universe Ghana 2020

Miss Universe Ghana returns for the 2020 edition, 25-year old contestant, Chelsea Tayui was crowned the new queen. The beauty pageant took a year break that saw the 2019 instalment not hosted.

However, organizers of the beauty pageant lead by country director, Menaye Donkor staged a virtual show for this year. This was largely due to the Coronavirus pandemic which either prevented events from being hosted or taking to online platforms.

The official unveiling of the new queen was shown on Joy Prime on Saturday, September 26, where Chelsea Tayui emerged as the winner. She will represent Ghana at the international Miss Universe pageant slated for early next year.
