Drive Time host on Neat FM, Kwadwo Annor Wiafe died last week. Well, the cause of Kwadwo Wiafe death has been revealed. According to Asaaseradio.com, Kwadwo Wiafe died of Covid-19. According to Asaaseradio, here is what led to Kwadwo Annor Wiafe death;
Wiafe Annor had no chronic illness. However, a member of the management team at Peace FM has told Asaaseradio.com that the vibrant DJ/MC was moved to the Nyaho because while he was at home receiving treatment for COVID-19, the infection took a turn for the worse and began to present itself in severe symptoms.
The senior manager at Peace stressed that Wiafe Annor had no underlying conditions and was energetic and reasonably fit. The Airport Residential Area branch of Nyaho began to offer COVID-19 testing just last month, so moving him there seemed like a smart move, the member of Peace FM’s management said.
Once on admission, however, Kwadwo Wiafe’s health deteriorated rapidly and he died within a week. He was just 33, and leaves behind a wife and three children.
Managers of Peace FM are taking the development seriously and have stepped up anti-coronavirus health and hygiene protocols at all their premises.
In an unrelated development, the Nyaho Clinic issued a notice on Friday 5 June announcing the suspension of all COVID-19 testing on the premises. The notice stated no reason for the suspension.
This was followed quickly by a second notice, this one from the managing director of the Nyaho Medical Centre, Elikem Tamaklo, announcing that he, too, had tested positive the previous day for COVID-19.
