Full Video Of BBC’s ‘#SexForGrade’ Exposé | WATCH

Over the years, lecturers in academic institutions in West Africa have been alleged to engage in sekz for grades which tends to defer most female students from completing their courses.

These allegations have over the years been increasingly alarming but this type of abuse has never been proven.

Well, yesterday was a relief day for most of the victims of these menace after the BBC released a video of university lecturers offering to help female students in exchange for sekz.

In the video, as narrated, BBC Africa Eye sent undercover journalists posing as students inside the University of Lagos and the University of Ghana.

The reporters who were all females were sexually harassed, propositioned and put under pressure by senior lecturers at the institutions – all the while wearing secret cameras. The report was led by BBC Africa Eye reporter Kiki Mordi.

Reporter Kiki Mordi, who knows first-hand how devastating sexual harassment can be, revealed what happens behind closed doors at some of the region’s most prestigious universities.
