Anti-Racism Protestors Topple & Paint Historical Slave Traders Statues Around The World


In wake of the fight against racism after the death of George Floyd, protestors took their anger and frustration out on historical statues consider to preach and celebrate slave trade activities.

A statue of Belgian King Leopold II was defaced following an anti-racism protest in Brussels as it was pushed into a river.

Belgian King Leopold II was a slave trader in the late 17th century who played a major role in the development of the city of Bristol. More of such actions have taken place in different locations.
