The Chairperson of the electoral commission, Jean Mensah won’t be mounting the witness box to be cross-examined by the lawyer for the petitioner, Tsatsu Tsikata in the ongoing 2020 election petition hearing at the Supreme Court.
NDC Flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama sent his petition to the Supreme Court over a disagreement of the 2020 election results. But, after several days of hearing from lawyers from both political parties and the witnesses, the court has ruled that the EC-Chair won’t mount the box as a witness.
