MTN HEROES OF CHANGE: David Heagan Transforms Lives Of Differently Abled People In Obuasi

The lives of the differently abled people in our various communities are affected in several ways, but little help from all corners can help transform and make things better. That’s the work David Heagan and his team at Galaxy Foundation set out to do in Obuasi and its environs.

Nominated by Father Eric Frimpong for his contribution to changing the lives of kids from various orphanage homes and also the aged who are suffering different forms of illness. During the peak of COVID-19 in the world, David and his team extended help to these homes and organized successful surgeries for kids and adults who were challenged physically.

He mentioned that getting Doctors and funds were so hectic but they persisted in the effort in changing lives. And his work has yielded results and earned him a nomination for this year’s MTN Heroes of Change. The program is set up to reward the heroes behind the scenes that are taking bold steps to change and hope for their communities and beyond.

MTN Heroes of Change season six is aired on TV3, UTV and GTV.
