OGIDI BROWN: A Brand That’s Building Other Brands

The music composer, writer, recording artiste,  and business maven – sells building materials – balance his time between Ghana and Italy – his first and second home respectively. Which he confirmed on FRONT VIEW, indicating difficulty choosing favourite of the two countries, rather he opted to stick to his current situation – Stay in Italy for his healthcare and Ghana to continue his music.

The last time we spoke to OGIDI BROWN before now, he revealed his situation was hanging on a tiny thread of hope – he went into a coma for months before the universe performed miracle and blessed him with life again. So for him, he is spending much of his time not only about his personal music and business brand but also of any talent his spot – he will help and work with. Within a short space of time – OGIDI BROWN has managed to expose the talent in music gems such as Fameye and Cryme Officer, and a couple yet to come, via his music company, OGB Records.

He isn’t scared of sacrifices – by trusting and placing his career on hold in order to help others with an equal talent to the limelight. He has developed the niche for also creating personal hit singles – last year, he made such rushing wind single titled Favour, featuring Kofi Kinaata – a song he said got huge reception during his performance at Sowuotum Concert by Medikal.

OGIDI BROWN considers music as his first love, the only time he’s fully satisfied internally is when the consumers in Ghana and across different continent nod to his song. Carefully and creatively cooking highlife with a blend of Afrobeat, the root and location matters for him – he isn’t going to let go of his musical heritage as a Ghanaian found in a foreign land.
