President Nana Akufo-Addo And The Entire Country Mourn Former UN Secretary General, Kofi Annan

    The President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellence, Nana Akufo-Addo has paid his tribute to the late former United Nations Secretary-General, Kofi Annan, who passed away in the early hours of Saturday, August 18, 2018, in Bern, Switzerland.

    In a series of tweets messages published on the official account of the President, He directed that Ghanaian flags across the country and diplomatic missions fly at half-mast in honour of Kofi Annan.

    Ghanaian celebrities Like Selly Galley, Abeiku Santana, Nana Aba Anamoah, and more paid their tributes using social media platforms.

    Kofi Annan Served at the United Nations From January 1997 to December 2006 and founded the Kofi Annan Foundation to push for better global governance.
