England player Raheem Sterling is set to rejoin his teammates in Qatar after he left the camp based on permission to attend to his family when his home was robbed and valuables were taken.

Police said no arrests had been made in connection with the burglary at Mr Sterling’s property.

In a statement, the force said two men, who remain in custody, were arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary on 6 December in the Oxshott area.

It is thought that Sterling’s fiancée, Paige Milian, returned to the couple’s home to discover that there had been a break-in.
