Prior to the release of the visuals for ‘Gringo’ by Shatta Wale, we had a lot of talks around the shoot of the video as it was tagged the most expensive video ever shot by the self-acclaimed dancehall king of Africa.
Under the direction of Nigerian filmmaker, Sesan from a location in Texas, United States of America. The video happens to be the first project to be released under his new management, Zylofon Music.
From the beginning of the video to the end, the storyline portrays Shatta Wale as a fearless cowboy who found himself in a strange land, took the mistress of the king of the land and defeated him (The king) on the battleground.
Shatta Wale’s working partner at Zylofon Music, Bulldog appeared in the video as a hard-working cowboy.
