Silvanus Records, a multi-production company in Ghana has signed Kumawood actress Clara Amoateng Benson known on screen as Maame Serwaa on a five-year mouthwatering deal.
Not all the details of the contract were revealed during the unveiling ceremony at the Alisa Hotel on March 1, 2018. But, a few were mentioned, they included; an apartment of her choice in Accra, a car, making sure she complete her tertiary university (She will be enroled at National Film and Television Institute), lastly, the management team is looking at rebranding her for the international market. Hence, she won’t only be acting twi (Local Dialect) movies alone.
Chief Executive officer of Silvanus Record, Benson Bright was delighted he and his team have been able to sign Maame Serwaa who he said has a lot of potentials yet to be unearthed. The new team she will be working with include; Manager – Mark Tetteh, Personal Assistant – Priscilla, Make-up Artist – Minalyn Touch, Stylist – Linda Asante and Shasha Wigs, and Publicist – Felix Adomako Mensah.
Also Present at the unveiling ceremony were her father, Mr George Benson, actor – Bill Asamoah, Don Little and other key industry players.
Maame Serwaa started acting at every tender age and has so far graced our screens with movies like ‘Maame Serwaa In Love,’ ‘Abusua Mefri Mu,’ ‘Sike Pe. She has received several nominations and won awards both home and abroad.
