Ghanaian Afropop artist & songwriter and a part-owner of Swag City Entertainment record label, Dennis Agbenyezi, popularly known as Soww Ffar, has revealed that, though his primary goal is to preach to the world and to touch souls through words of wisdom, his career life won’t be completely fulfilled without being rewarded with a Grammy laurel.
According to him, he is born “perfectionist”, as his personality trait is characterized by striving for flawlessness and setting excessively high-performance standards, accompanied by overly critical self-evaluations and concerns regarding others’ evaluations. Dennis is set to release his Room session – a project where he performs 1min:30sec of songs off his coming album, titled “When We Are Gone”, tomorrow.
Dennis Agbenyezi attended Accra High School and graduated from UPSA, where he studied Bsc Banking & Finance. He started composing and writing songs way back in primary 5 through to High School where he went on hiatus. He recorded his first single with a team of 3 (3G) in 2012 after completing High School.
He is a preacher by birth; as he believes there are so many messages of wisdom and words of truth deposited in him and would love to share with the world; and music chose him as it’s an advocate to pursue that course.
In 2019, he officially released his solo project dubbed WOMBA. He currently has three (3) studio albums to his credit, which he featured Ghanaian performing artistes, including, Camidoh, Kojo Cue, Tulenkey, and Worlasi. He has been featured on projects of producers and great musicians which are yet to be released. ‘This love’ by Camidoh, ‘Where Dreams Go Yo Die’ by USA based producer Nektunez, Control by Warnin Gee and ‘One Africa’ by Kwé etc.
