The fifth season of Yolo was premiered at the Silverbird Cinemas at WestHills Malls on May 3, 2019, with both the newly introduced budding talents and the old ones.

Gracing the event as the special guest of honour was The United States Ambassador to Ghana, Stephanie S. Sullivan who used the occasion to encourage the youth to stay in school, learn hard and keep watching the Yolo series as it educates society a lot about issues affecting the youth in schools and more.

Also present at the premiere were Adjetey Anang (Pusher), Queenstar Anaafi (Emily), Chief (George), Abrantie, Odenkyem, Mark Anthony and more

Attendees enjoyed each episode that was shown at the cinema with an in-depth touch on relationships among the youth in schools, seniors bullying juniors et al under the direction of legendary Ghanaian filmmaker, Ivan Quashigah of Farmhouse Ghana, the fifth season was written by Selassie Yao.
