Vitamilk GirlTalk Loud Concert 2018: Efya proves her might once more, who takes over next year?

Ghanaian afrobeat goddess, Efya made a successful return to the Vitamilk GirlTalk Concert stage again after successfully exiting the show with a masterpiece of performance last year. The emotional moment for fans was turned into joy when Palm Media (Organizers of GirlTalk Concert) announced her as the headline act based on popular demands from the music community in Ghana and around the world.

Efya lived by her high-level of craftsmanship on December 21, 2018, at the National Theatre of Ghana where the show was staged to prove she is ever ready anytime and day when called upon. This year’s show had a bit of spice added as tickets purchase by patrons can lead them to the second part of the event which is a beach party on Monday, December 24, 2018, at Labadi Beach, Accra.

She gracefully opened the show with a solo heartwarming performance to pave the way for iconic highlife musician, Amakye Dede to join her on stage for an outstanding moment which had everyone in the theatre screaming so loud at the spectacular show. She performed with Sista Afia before bringing Joyce Blessing on stage to sing the popular gospel song ‘I Swerve You’ together.

Popular Kumawood actor, Akwasi Boadi (Abrobeto) made a surprise appearance on stage to read the evening news bringing the audience on their knees with laughter. Celebrated Ghanaian journalist, Nana Aba Anamoah was honoured by GirlTalk for her selfless dedication to the campaign against drug abuse in Ghana. She was presented with two tickets from Air Namibia and she chose one of the ushers on the night called Pinky to be her travel-partner.

Interestingly, the unexpected all-female performance with Eno, Freda Rhymz and Feli Nuna caught the eyes of the audience, a precursor for ushering on stage one after the other acts like Black Entertainment Television Award winner, Stonebwoy, Afrobeat and contemporary highlife sensations, King Promise, Kidi, Kuami Eugene, Black Entertainment Television Award nominee, Kwesi Arthur, and Sister Derby.

There’s no doubt that Efya has set the bar higher once more, which female act can successfully and amazingly lived by that standard next year?
