‘Ghanaian Entertainers Need To Get Closer To God’ – Possigee

    Renowned Ghanaian beat maker and sound engineer, Awal Alhassan, known in showbiz asPossi Gee aka “Possible” was hosted on TV Africa’s ‘Video Ryde’ by Larry, he revealed how he felt when he heard about the sudden demise of young and talented dancehall act, Ebony Reigns.
    The producer, now sound engineer said, “God or Allah is not a priority for some industry players and urged everyone to fear God.” He added that “most do not pray at all, but we should all take God seriously and be diligent with our prayer time.”
    According to Possi Gee, “sound Engineering in Ghana is lucrative” but he does not enjoy royalties like musicians or producers do. Rather, a job well done brings in many recommendations and that is how he stays in the game.
    When asked what differentiates a producer from a sound engineer, Possi Gee explained that a producer creatively puts the beats together while the sound engineer positions every sound and instrument to make the song clearer.
    Possi Gee has worked with, Sarkodie, Stoneboy, Shata Wale, King Promise and T-Flow to name a few.
