VIDEO: Kofi Annan Remains Leave Geneva For Accra

    A United Nations plane carrying the casket containing the remains of the former Secretary-General, Kofi Annan of the organization left Geneva, Switzerland for Accra today. The Ghanaian international diplomat died on August 18, 2018, in Bern, Switzerland.

    Former United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan Dies, Aged 80

    President Nana Akufo-Addo will receive the remains accompanied by family and United Nations officials at a brief ceremony. He will be buried in Accra on September 13, 2018, the public will have the chance to pay their last respect on September 11, 2018.
